Types of waste accepted

The transfer station at Leatherhead is able to accept a wide range of commercial waste – including wood, inert (hardcore), green waste, plasterboard, card and paper, mixed glass, mattresses, domestic fridges and freezers, small WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment) and car and lorry tyres. We are also able to accept waste direct from members of the public for items that cannot be accepted at our community recycling centres. Please ensure that waste is properly sorted to avoid any loads being rejected or charged at a higher rate.
