Changes at community recycling centres from 04 December 2017
Following a consultation period over the summer, Surrey County Council has decided to make further changes to the services offered at the community recycling centres.
The changes are summarised below and more information can be found on the Surrey County Council website.
From 04 December 2017
- There will be no free daily allowance of chargeable non-household waste such as rubble, plasterboard and soil.
- Changes to the Surrey resident scheme mean that residents from Bracknell Forest and Wokingham will no longer be able to use Camberley community recycling centre.
From 08 January 2018
- There will be restrictions on which community recycling centres vans, trailers and pick-ups can be taken to.
- Opening days at most sites will be reduced.
