Transforming playtime at local school
Local school, Leatherhead Trinity, wins prestigious platinum Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) award celebrating the quality of playtime with donations from SUEZ reuse shops in Surrey.
The OPAL award aims to improve the quality of playtimes, with the platinum award being the highest possible recognition. This means the school has shown exceptional commitment to improving outdoor play.
The SUEZ reuse shops at Leatherhead and Earlwood were delighted to be able to support with donated items ranging from sledges, bikes and skateboards through to pallets and go-karts!
Hannah Gray, Deputy Headteacher said “Leatherhead Trinity School and Nursery team would like to extend our deepest thanks for the incredible generosity SUEZ have shown through our partnership. The Revive shops have made it possible for us to transform our playtime for the children. I would not be exaggerating if I said that, without this partnership, our children would have access to scarcely a tenth of the items they currently have to play with.
They have truly transformed the way our children experience play and have helped us create a vibrant, inclusive, and joyful play environment that encourages creativity, momentum, and social connection. Thanks to SUEZ support we have achieved the OPAL platinum award – an honour awarded to only about 1% of schools across the country!”
