SUEZ supports students at St Bede’s mock interview day
SUEZ colleagues Grace Leech, Partnership and Community Engagement Coordinator, and Carolina Nunes Freitas, Business Administrator Apprentice, recently returned to St Bede’s School in Redhill to support the school’s Year 13 Mock Interview Day.
The event gave students the opportunity to experience a realistic interview environment, helping them develop their confidence and prepare for further education, apprenticeships and future employment opportunities.
Throughout the morning, Grace and Carolina each interviewed seven students, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them strengthen their interview technique and communication skills. The pair were impressed by the preparation and professionalism demonstrated by many of the students, with participants showing increasing confidence as the sessions progressed.
It was also an opportunity to reconnect with two students who completed work experience placements with SUEZ earlier this year. Encouragingly, one student shared that their experience had inspired them to consider joining SUEZ through an apprenticeship programme in the future.
Grace Leech said:
“It was fantastic to return to St Bede’s and support students as they prepare for their next steps. Interviewing can be daunting, but it was great to see so many students embracing the challenge, building their confidence and developing skills that will benefit them throughout their careers.”
